Sebastião Castelo Lopes (Lisbon, 1994): graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon in Drawing, in 2015; received his Master’s degree at the Wimbledon College of Arts of the University of Arts London in 2016, in Drawing as well; and, got a PhD in Fine-Arts with a Specialization in Drawing, again at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, in 2023. Over the last two years, he has worked in collaboration with the Galeria Monumental, the Cerveira Art Biennial Foundation, and the Hélder Alfaiate Art Gallery, and participated in the arts residency programs between Lisbon and Budapest, by the Câmara Municipal de Lisboa. He has held solo exhibitions in Lisbon, London, and Budapest, and his works are included in collections from the Município de Loures, the Budapest History Museum, the Fundação Millennium BCP, and the Centro Cultural de Cascais, as well as some private collections.
