Adrián Montenegro (Pasto, Colombia, 1986) got a Master’s degree in Production and Artistic Research at the University of Barcelona, and a Postgraduate Degree in Graphic Illustration at the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia. Montenegro has participated in artistic and academic events, such as seminars, biennials, congresses, festivals, fairs, residencies, and exhibitions, both nationally and internationally, since 1999. Also, thanks to the support from study committees for professor training at the Universidad de Nariño (Colombia), where he teaches Visual Arts, Montenegro is currently getting his PhD in Contemporary Art (2022–2024) at the University of Coimbra.
