Valdemar Santos has a PhD in Contemporary Art from the College of Arts of the University of Coimbra, a Master’s degree in Art History from the Universidade Lusíada – Lisboa (2000), and a Bachelor’s degree in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto (1990). Currently, Santos teaches Drawing both as an invited assistant professor for the Bachelor's Degree in Design and Multimedia at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra and as a High School teacher. As an artist, he has worked on solo exhibitions and participated in many collective exhibitions.
