Retratos de Ninguém is an interactive installation that explores computer content creation bordering on real and artificial, by utilizing images and sounds from the audience themselves as raw material. In the space of this installation, a visual ambiance is created, immersing and constantly changing, defined by the fleeting synthesis, projection, and reproduction of a set of photorealistic portraits and sounds fabricated artificially. The installation uses artificial intelligence and computer graphics to extract and recombine facial parts from the audience, and to, in this way, create portraits of an artificial population. A sound composition is given to these portraits, based on sounds produced by the audience during their visit. So, like the content created by it, the installation provides a space for reflecting on how recent technological advances have altered how we connect with one another and with the contemporary world.
